Shannon Region

Ireland's Mid-West is dominated by the River Shannon, with historic castles and houses dotted along the riverbanks and sea shores. 

Limerick is a vibrant and exciting city, with a new waterfront entertainment area for visitors to enjoy.  The county celebrates Ireland's heritage and is home to some historic parkland courses, such as Adare. 

Nearby Clare is the original home of Ireland's traditional music, which can be heard nightly in the local bars.  There's lots of links golf on offer here along the coastline, with breath-taking views out to sea and the Aran Islands.
