Claddagh fishing village - The origins of the city are here in this traditional fishing village at the mouth of the River Corrib

Spanish Arch - Built in 1584 as part of the city walls and to protect the city quays from marauders, Galway City Museum now sits beside the Arch.           

Lynch's Castle - The historic home of Galway’s most powerful family, this building is a fine example of Irish Gothic architecture.         

Eyre Square - Galway’s focal point, Eyre Square is a place for people watching and soaking up the atmosphere

Achill Island  - Barren and beautiful, Achill has been inhabited for thousands of years. 

Croagh Patrick - Mayo’s most prominent mountain, St. Patrick is reputed to have visited here

Westport Heritage town - Mainly built during Georgian times, Westport is a colourful, pretty town
